Slackers is a woman’s magazine dedicated to all thing’s pants. A magazine meant to empower woman, it’s informative in as many ways as you can think. All while not taking itself too seriously when you realize the name is ironically referencing men’s trousers and slacking off. Hopefully while reading our newest issue. The pages are filled with in your face color choices and out of the box graphic style.
The magazine is designed with a rigid set of rules and conventions. Which are subsequently broken in playful ways to add flare to an otherwise mundane page. Details such as the page description’s icon being in reference to a button and the overly left aligned text within the text blocks speak to the care taken in providing a magazine both fun to read and even more fun to flip through.
